While the COVID-19 pandemic remains a challenge this winter, we continue to strive, demonstrating endurance, respect, knowledge and strength to serve our residents and teams.
The following is a quote that resonates with me and is especially fitting in these unprecedented times:
"You are braver than you believe and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." —A.A. Milne
In October 2020, the board of directors had a productive virtual strategic planning refresh session. Along with our facilitator Kristin Arnold, we revisited our strategic plan and put in perspective that with all the challenges we faced over the past months we still made strides. As we reviewed, we realized that we are exactly on track with our strategic plan and we continue to implement the three strategic initiatives:
- Nurture Inclusivity in our structure and operations.
- Promote Togetherness in our organization and with our partners.
- Increase Awareness with our employers and members, promoting the importance of being a CSNM member.
A special thanks to our devoted volunteers who continue to participate on our CSNM committees and ensure we keep on track and move forward with our strategic initiatives.
Stay tuned for exciting updates on the CSNM provincial structure, certification, partnerships, accreditation, recruiting and retention this year.
